More Photos: Neuschwanstein

Here are a few more photos from the excursion to Neuschwanstein Castle. In order: (1) view of the castle from the village below (start of the trail); (2) panoramic view of valley below near the top of the trail; (3) almost there; (4) Jacob standing just outside the castle gate; and (5) a photo of Hohenschwangau Castle, where King Ludwig spent most of his childhood. In my previous post, in the photo showing the view of the lake and village below, Hohenschwangau can be seen to the right of the lake. Much smaller castle, but very interesting as well.
